The Tiki Bar in Solomon’s, Maryland finalized a deal with Green Room Events on July 31st to showcase the areas best island music. The artists will feature steel drum bands, reggae and Jimmy Buffett tribute bands. When asked by the Bay Net about this new addition to the Tiki Bar, Manager Joe Kurley stated that the owners and the staff wanted to find a way to provide a little more of the island atmosphere and what better way than to showcase the areas best island sounds. Kurley also reiterated that the current owners and staff will always respect the traditions of the Tiki Bar instilled by it’s previous owners and do not intend to create the rowdy night club atmosphere, but rather an enjoyable atmosphere to suit it’s diverse clientele.

Green Room Events is happy to announce our involvement with this exciting event. Green Room events is producing and promoting this benefit. Lloyd Dobler Effect had their trailer with nearly $100,000 of equipment stolen while on tour in chicago. Neptune's Beach Club of California, Md. has graciously offered it's venue for the event. Admission is $15 with the proceeds benefiting the LDE Loss Fund. The lineup for this awesome event is: Kneel to Zod, Below Sixth, Lionize, HydraFx and of course Lloyd Dobler Effect. Doors open at noon for the Sunday football and show starts at 5 and should end around 10 so you can still get u for work that Monday. The date for this evebt is Sunday December 2, 2007.
